AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): "Buying Death" at the cost of lakhs of billing in private hospitals ! Setting example of such Medical Business, Gauri Deb, 38 years old housewife who was battling for life from Sarkar Nursing Home to TMC to GB hospital has finally died. Her family members were trying to shift her to other state's hospital which was not possible due to her serious condition and also as she was in ventilation but after struggling for 3 days, finally, Gauri Deb has passed away, leaving her little daughter and family forever.

Her family has filed FIR against Doctor Biswaraj Sarkar. As per the patient party's statement, Sarkar is a Doctor connected with both the Sarkar Nursing Home and TMC and after a failed Gallbladder stone operation, she was shifted to TMC and with false COVID report she was referred to GB COVID-Centre. In TMC in 2 days around Rs. 65,000 of bill was made including medicine and now she has died in GB COVID centre, whereas she is not COVID positive in real but was sent off from TMC saying, 'COVID-Positive'. 

A GD entry was lodged in NCC PS before her death on yesterday night to be followed by proper legal action. The case is now transferred to West Agartala PS. 

Patient's husband Subrata Das said that the COVID positive false report was hand-written by the Doctor in hurry to make her out of TMC hospital forcefully. 

After failed operation in Sarkar nursing home, she was taken to TMC but there based on COVID positive report (antigen test) she was shifted to COVID centre but later, she was found negative.
