AGARTALA, Oct 3 (TIWN): HQ 21 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised various events to commemorate 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 02 Oct 20.

A *Motivational talk* on Father of the Nation was organised at Oinam Village, Dist Bishnupur, Manipur and at Radhanagar, Agartala and Udaipur in Tripura. The event was attended by Ward members and local villagers at all locations. The talk laid emphasis on life led by Mahatma Gandhi and inspired others to emulate examples set by him for greater good of the society.

*Afforestation Drive* was organised by Khoupam battalion at N Khunuo, Upper Ngariya in Manipur, by Kadamtala battalion and by Agartala Battalion at various COB locations within their AORs. All activities were conducted taking adequate COVID precaution measures.
