AGARTALA, Oct 1 (TIWN): On Wednesday evening Sadar SDM and New Capital Complex SDPO organised a meeting with the club committees to discuss the norms and regulations that will be followed in upcoming Durga Puja. Due to the ongoing pandemic, this year there will be a lot of dos and don'ts in the Puja celebration, that has been discussed today.
While addressing media Sadar SDM said, "We have talked with all the members of different Clubs under NCC PS. There are several rules and regulations to be followed in this year's Durga Puja to keep the festive atmosphere safe and sound. Some of them are like to provide hand sanitizers to every devotees, we have also asked the puja committees to provide masks to the people who will not wear it. The height of the idol should not be more than 10 ft and there will be no inn and out system so that the devotees can pray from far also."
