AGARTALA, Sep 30 (TIWN): On Wednesday, CPI-M's youth wing (DYFI) and indigenous wing (TYF) placed deputation to the South District's Chief Medical Officer (CMO). The main motto of this deputation was to seek the authority's attention in developing ghe district's health infrastructure.
While addressing media one member said, "We have seen that people are facing various problems in getting medical services in our district. People have to wait for long for getting tested, delay in starting the treatment, no doctors availability etc are making people suffer during this time of Covid pandemic."
"To improve this health system, we came here to place deputation with 9 various demands. We have talked with the CMO and he gave us a positive response. He promised us that he will look after our demands and try to solve the inconveniences as early as possible," he further added.
