AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): One housewife committed suicide on Tuesday. The incident took place in Pratap Garh Sil Tilla.

Reportedly, A middle-aged woman named Bharati Majumder was spotted hanging from her room's ceiling by her family members. They immediately informed East Women PS. Police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital for autopsy.

It came the know that the woman got married to Sukanta Majumder, resident of Pratapgarh 10 years ago. However, the reason behind her attempting suicide is still not found yet. Police has taken a case in it and investigating the matter.
