AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): SFI, DYFI and Nari Samiti have jointly placed deputation to the East Agartala Police station seeking control on deteriorating law and order situations in that area.

"On 26th September, Advocate Bhaskar Debbarma was harassed on road and he was given murder threats by miscreants. His house's name-plate has been removed. But no action has been take against the miscreants. Many other similar law and order issues are being witnessed under this East Agartala PS. We demand, fast action against the miscreants", said DYFI leader Sanjay Das.
