AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): On Monday a group of miscreants allegedly from ruling party attacked on Ration dealer's house in Bishalgarh. They heavily damaged his house, broken his two cars and beaten him and his son.
Reportedly, Swapan Mallik, resident of Brajapur under Bishalgarh Subdivision is a owner of one ration shop is his locality. But since few months few goons who are allegedly from BJP is trying to snatch his shop and dealership. They have threatened him few times before. The owner filed a case in Bishalgarh PS but that couldn't stop the miscreants from attacking further.
On Monday night, the miscreants attacked in his house. They allegedly beaten him and his family members, broken two of his cars and house. They also made him sign in a paper forcefully.
They allegedly given them threat not to inform police otherwise they will kill them.
Later, on Tuesday morning police came to the place and started investigation. However, a situation of tension is still devouring the family of Swapan Mallik.
