Rs. 50,000 salary for Group-D employees speech was given by Assam Minister Himanta Biswa sarma during a rally in 2018, February at Tripura's Dhanpur constituency, Ex-CM Manik Sarkar's constituency. He also promised a College in Dhanpur by weeks of winning. He was referring 7th Pay Commission's implementation in Tripura and in mode to explain how this Pay Commission may help the State employees.
