AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): Two Bru units under "Bru Mthoh Council of Kaskau and Rai of the Riangs" and "Bru Socio Cultural Organizations" held a joint press meet on Sunday with demand of permanent settlement of Brus with land-allocation process's completion in Tripura. Addressing in a press meet, the leaders said that amid various objections are being put by 'Mizo Convention' and 'Nagarik Suraksha Mancha', the Govt of Tripura must focus on the Bru settlement issue at the earliest and their rehabilitation should be in Kanchanpur and also other areas of Tripura as per State Govt's ongoing process. The organizations also blasted a faction group "Bru Sangama Mathaha" alleging it is trying to violate the customary law of the Brus and now has handed-over a book to CM Biplab Deb, but was written wrongly about the customary laws of Brus.

 Faction Bru unit's leader Khanaram Reang has also been slammed by the Bru allegedly for manipulating the customary laws. 

With all these issues, these two units of Brus held the press meet followed by 2 days long conventions.
