AGARTALA, Sep 25 (TIWN): Daring theft incidents are increasing on an alarming note across the Capital Agartala amid lockdown. Though the police informed that night petrolling to installing CCTV cameras have been working hot on the trail, yet another incident of theft took place just infront of West Agartala PS.

Living people in shock the thieves looted one shop in a place where security is very high. The frustrated shopkeeper said that few months back also he shop had been looted on same manner. Although he had lodged complaint in West PS but that couldn't stop the thieves from looting his shop once again, leaving question on the role of Sadar SDPO and his team.

"My shop is just infront of Sadar SDPO office, where all police personnels can see. Still they are looting me over and over again. If the situation continues like this, then where will a poor person like me go?"

However, no statement has been made from the West Agartala Police's side yet.
