AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): CPI-M has started protest statewide with 5 points of demands including Financial help to poor, voicing against Attack on Media and Common men, anti-labourers moves, seeking Free Medicine Care and proper step to curb COVID-19. This is a part of nationwide protest started before a week.

In Agartala the protest programme was led by former Chief Minister cum Opposition leader Manik Sarkar. Statewide also same programme was held and thousands of people amid rain and stormy weather joined the protests.
