AGARTALA, Sep 19 (TIWN): Supreme Court led terminated 10323 Teachers have demanded permanent solution to their problems, uncertain situations, financial devastation and to appoint them urgently. Addressing media, 'Justice for 10323 Teachers' members said, "On last 10th September, we started 3 days demonstration programme but we ended that programme in one day because Tripura Govt had given a positive response to the 10323 teachers, but today after 10 days of passage no decision has been taken to improve the situation, neither any proper step was taken for our livelihood although Supreme Court gave its verdict on 5th September and as per its No-18 para, there is no problem to give us livelihoods. We will thus hold a Mahakaran Chalo Abhiyaan on 23rd September if by 21st September the Govt does not take any positive decision. Our demand is to implement 18 no para of the Supreme Court's verdict and to appoint us at the earliest".
"We request the Govt to declare about us by 21st September. 10323 teachers are dying in tension. We have financial distress and we have various problems. We don't have any means of earning now. We also demand, the 10323 teachers who died, their family should be given jobs. Then we have come to know that only 57 writ were implemented but the one writ has not been implemented yet and thus a section is still in job. We demand a justice in that", said the terminated teachers.
