AGARTALA, Sep 19 (TIWN): Amid fund crisis, limited financial capacity allegations, Tripura Goct reportedly is proceeding to lease Rs. 23 Crores of Helicopter when the state is suffering from COVID-crisis situations and State Govt in last 30 months imposed high taxation on common men. The tender at Aviation Category to be taken by Joint Transport Commissioner. In E-Tender this tender related purchasing started from 10th September and to be continued till 5th October. In local news reports, questions raised when Tripura is suffering from fund crisis, job crisis, social pension beneficiaries numbers have been reduced, why such expenses at the public taxes. Govt is also unable to provide MGNREGA mandays to the people, which have been come out from ground surveys and workers directly alleged about 'almost no MGNREGA works'. The chopper will be 6 to 7 seated and the tender has been called costing Rs. 23 crores.
