Tripura Govt orders Govt Employees to remain present on Congress's Strike Day

AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): Tripura Government on 16 September circulated a notice asking all the government offices, govt undertakings and organisations under the state govt to function normally on 21st September, the day Tripura Pradesh Congress called a 12 hours strike on.
The notice also mentioned that all the govt employees and employees of all such undertakings to present on the office and perform their duties. And the govt will take serious steps against the employees if they make any violation of the order.
The Tripura Pradesh Congress called for 12 hours strike on 21st September against the continuous attacks on opposition leaders and illegal activities going on in State. They also wanted to draw attention on the constantly degrading health services of Tripura by calling this strike. Now this order issued by government made the situation panicky for the govt employees. Now it is to see how effective this bandh will be on 21st of this month.
