Biswakarma Puja : Prices of Idols go higher this year in Tripura

AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): Prices of Biswakarma Idols have gone higher this year as limited numbers of idols have been made by the potters.
As the Biswakarma puja will be celebrated on 17th September, idols have been decked up in the markets in Agartala, where the sellers said that the demand of idols are okay yet now but the prices will remain high this year. Stocks are also limited due to COVID-19 pandemic period and chances losses in business.
In various other parts of the state, Biswakarma puja is being observed. However, this year the State Govt has set out rules which must be followed centering Corona-Virus pandemic.
