Tripura along with many other northeast states although suffers from various problems but this region always is being deprived of national media focuses. Tripura is only highlighted in jokes when Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb says something impossible like "Internet was existing in Mahabharata's time" or "Diana Hayden was unworthy to be Miss World etc". But this time, with the attack on media and threat on democracy was broadcasted in NDTV centering CM Biplab Deb's threat to media in Sabroom speech, netizens have thanked Ravish Kumar and NDTV team.
