AGARTALA, Sep 15 (TIWN): Amid massive public sufferings, water-logging problems in the capital city Agartala, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday has claimed that his Govt has successfully ended the water-logging problems of the city and making a SMART City. CM was addressing in Engineers' Day organized by State Engineers Association when he said so. "Before election, whenever I went to my own constituency Banamalipur in Agartala, from house to house people had only one urge that is to end their water-logging problems, but today almost 90% of the problems in the Agartala city on water-logging has been ended. One of the biggest reasons behind it is the new integrated centre, from where the experts come to know about the whole city's condition at a same time".
"From there, they direct the workers where to work first, where to fit the pumps first. Engineers have lot of contribution in that".
But, when Biplab Deb has said so, the reality of the city is totally different and water-logging problems of the city is as same as before.
