AGARTALA, Sep 14 (TIWN): Tripura Working Journalists' Association (TWJA) has condemned attack on journalist Parashar Biswas followed by CM Biplab Deb's attacking statement against media.
The Association has sought justice to the incident along with action against the anti-social elements who held the attack. Also, TWJA demands that CM Biplab Deb must withdraw his Sabroom speech which caused tension in the media world.
The attack on journalist also took place followed by CM's speech at Sabroom saying, he will not forgive media writing with high-interest against Govt on COVID-updates.
Recently opposition leader Manik Sarkar also attacked media after he directly asked his party worker not to read a newspaper claiming it publishes 'fake news', when all media persons were present.
