AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): On a question mark, it has been spotted that the officials of West Tripura are issuing fine receipts without signatures.
This incident came to light when a person named Rupa Das was issued fine for not wearing mask in public place. The fine was issued by office of District Megistrate and Collector .But there was no signature of the officials on that receipt where it is strictly instructed that no spot fine receipt shoud be issued without the signature of the official involved in that.
This erupted question on the role of government officials. However, this is not the first time that fine receipts are been issued without signatures, such incidents were spotted before also but no proper action has been taken against it.
