AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): Like every year, this year also Tripura has celebrated World Physiotherapy Day but no gathering was allowed and as Colleges are closed, so the Dept of Physiotherapy did not launch any programme or rally like other years.

Professional Physiotherapist Society has distributed masks, sanitizers, fruits among the AMC workers and others on this occasion.

World Physical Therapy Day is observed to generate awareness about the crucial contribution physical therapists make to society, enabling people to be mobile, well, and independent. This is observed on 8 September. This day was designated in 1996 by the World Confederation for Physical Therapy.
