AGARTALA, Sep 8 (TIWN): Amid BJP Govt’s milk industrialization promise, the Goyala Basti, which is the most prominent zone for dairy production in Agartala has left in profitless situations.

Talking to the residents there, they said that the previous Govt was much better than this existing Govt.

When economy is at loss, from State Govt, no help is given and cows are on edge of deaths. Milk productions also have downed. The people there are unable to feed the cows properly due to increasing financial distresses.

Due to lockdown and COVID pandemic this situation is worsened but as Modi Govt has failed to provide economic help to the poor people with direct financial benefit, the problems are getting out of control.

Livelihoods under BJP Govt has turned tough for the Goyala Basti people. Dr Dilip Das is the local BJP MLA of that area. 

TIWN also surveys time to time at Battala where daily workers are seen sitting workless, alleging Govt has reduced MGNREGA mandays too.
