AGARTALA, Sep 5 (TIWN): In a terrible incident, one housewife cried, broke down in tears as she has been threatened by her husband's advocate infront of East Agartala women police when she tried to file an FIR of domestic violence.

The house wife claimed that before also her husband tried to dismiss every case she reported by showing the power of money.

Reportedly, a man identified as Gopal Baidya tortured her second wife on daily basis. He has a daughter from his first marriage, the woman alleged. Out of frustration he physically assaulted his wife on everyday basis. The victim alleged that her husband is a rich person and by using the money he shuts everyone's mouth.

The victim on Saturday came to East Agartala Women PS to file an FIR against her husband. The police allegedly called her husband and he appeared in PS with his advocate. The victim alleged that his advocate allegedly threatened her infront of police.

The victim urged CM Biplab Kumar Deb via media to take action against the system that does not work properly infront of power and money. She also sought strict punishment against her husband.
