TELIAMURA, Sep 2 (TIWN): A corruption has been spotted in distribution of betel nut plants in Teliamura, Tripura.
The beneficiaries have alleged unfair distribution of saplings, depriving a large numbers of Jhumia families beneficiaries.
Also, along with baby plants, 4 days MGNREGA mandays were promised by Central Govt but the beneficiaries are still deprived of that.
This incident happened under Mungiakami block where total around 800 plants per beneficiary among 17 panchayat were planned but allegedly only around 250 have been given among limited people and also in improper ways these plants were given, alleged locals.
