AGARTALA, Sep 1 (TIWN): Tripura Congress's internal fighting is confusing masses over party decisions and the party workers are too rudderless. ‘Congress is not anyone’s personal property’, said Tripura Congress President Pijush Biswas cancelling Strike Decision taken by a section of Congress workers in support of Birjit Sinha, former Congress President.

Addressing media, Pijush Biswas said, “This is not the first time that Congress leader or activists have been arrested. Under BJP rules, violent attacks took place on the BJP workers but now with the strike called after attacks on Birjit Sinha, is giving a wrong message that the Congress workers don’t have any value in the party. It only values when a leader is attacked. A person, including the President is not above the Party”.

“PCC has cancelled the decision and calling this strike was also illegal”, added Biswas.
