AGARTALA, Aug 21 (TIWN): During the Covid-19 Pandemic when all the educational institutions whether it is government or non-government giving relaxations on fee payment, the Tripura Medical College (TMC) allegedly decided to give no extension for fee payment, instead imposed 200/day fine.
This decision amid lockdown left the students in problems. After requesting for a lot of times, the TMC authority decided to pay no attention and circulated a notice mentioning about the last date of fee payment with the extra amount of fine if the student delays in paying his fees. The fee payment is from 5 lakh to 9 lakh depending on the year of admission which includes the tution, hostel and mess fees altogether, as per the allegation of the students there.
