Agartala, Nov 26 (TIWN): The state administration is leaving no stone unturned to woo Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Tripura. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the second unit of the 726 MW gas based thermal power project at Palatana in Gomati district on December 01, next, said a source. Besides he is likely to hold a vital meeting with the ministers at Civil Secretariat on the same day.
The state administration is gearing up to offer a red-carpet welcome to Narendra Modi. The top level officials of Centre and state government have gearing up to welcome Modi in the state during his visit.
Over 200 workers are involved to make the city clean and colorful to mark the Prime Minister’s visit. The workers have already started to paint the walls of civil secretariat ahead of Modi’s visit in the state. Almost all the city roads especially VIP road from Airport to Capital Complex are getting more eye-catching.
On the other hand, to avoid any untoward incident during Modi’s visit, the police administration is planning for a massive security arrangements, said a police official today. Besides, additional security personnel have been deployed to keep close surveillance along Indo-Bangla international border, he said. Following Modi’s visit, several vital meetings were conducted recently by the high officials.
According to the party sources, the Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, workers and supporters are too gearing up to welcome Modi with party flags and posters.
