AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): "5,000 jobs from Agarwatti (Incense) business in Tripura", said CM Biplab Deb on Independence Day. Doctors, Engineers, B.Ed, NET, P.hd qualified unemployed youths are in search of jobs in Tripura and Govt Depts go dry in recruitment. But instead of announcing anything about recruitment, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Independence Day has announced that there are 5,000 jobs possibility from Agarbatti business in Tripura. It was trolled in social media.
CM was addressing in Khadi programme on I-Day and said, “Tripura already crossing 1400 metric ton in making Agarbatti sticks. Our target is 29,000 metric ton which was earlier status but lost in the middle, we have to go to that level by 3 years. We have made a Yojna in this regard and in 3 years Rs. 75 crores will be invested and 5,000 people will get incomes from it”.
