AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): A massive fight occurred at Taidu ADC area between ruling BJP and IPFT.

A case was registered in the Taidu PS, based on the complaint of IPFT. Many of the IPFT workers were injured.

Gomati Dist SP SP Lucky Chauhan and Additional SP Sudip Kumar Paul both have assured that the situation is under control.

SP said, “The area is tensed since yesterday night resulting today’s fight. We are trying to control the situation fully so that total peace can be restored”.

The Police officer also informed that from both sides, peace has been assured.
