AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has stated that Tripura has already became an Education Hub. He said this while referring about various Universities developed in the state. "Our Cabinet has taken a decision to make Composite Regional Centre in provide and preventive and Promotional Rehabilitation Health, Education, Employment, Vocational Training, Research and Manpower for persons with disabilities" for the Divyang. In 2018 the regional centre was made already and now its headquarter will be at Kolkata and the regional centre to be at Lakkhilunga here. Total 64,346 Divyags are now in state", said Minister Ratanlal Nath. In 2021 there will be again census and the final number yet to come out.
Minister also mentioned, Tripura Sanskrit College which was relocated at Budhha Mandir will be now Lembuchara and it has been considered by centre as Central University through a decision in Parliament. Tripura has also plan to start an Army School.
"We already have MBB University, ICFAI, TIT, Art, Music College. So overall, it's now an Education-Hub", said Minister.
