AGARTALA, Aug 1 (TIWN): Viswa Hindu Parishad (VHP) members allegedly held brutal attack in Joypur area in the capital city Agartala on the eve of Eid.

The locals were seen bleeding after the severe attacks and allegedly their cows were also snatched from homes.

Police at first gave protection by rushing the spot but soon, no police were seen on spot. Surprisingly, nobody was arrested so far, neither BJP's minority morcha said anything.

This is not the first time that the anti-social elements are disturbing the peace of the state but even after many incidents, the leaders are freed from arrests.
