KAMLPUR, Nov 24 (TIWN): A total of 3428 cases were disposed at the Holiday Court at Kamalpur yesterday. 3,22,950 rupees were collected as fine amount from different cases. The Legal Aid Authority of Kamalpur informed TIWN about it.
Yesterday, the Legal Aid Authority organized a Holiday Court at Kamalpur regarding 6,000 long-pending vehicle related cases. Of those case summon was served for 4,000 cases.
To mitigate the cases quickly, people thronged in the Court complex from the very morning. At last 3428 cases were disposed. But as the work continued till night, so the authority could not inform about the disposed cases and the revenue collected from those. People thanked the Legal Aid Authority for such effort and demanded for more such Courts to dispose cases quickly.
