AGARTALA, July 27 (TIWN): After 4 months of joblessness, the terminated 10323 teachers of Tripura are now seen selling vegetables, fruits and fish, whereas sometimes they are seen doing MGNREGA works. Ironically, the Political leaders who begged the former teachers and their families vote banks directly or indirectly, before 2018 election are now enjoying public taxed luxuries which was never possible without unemployed, 10323 teachers and other sections of people’s votes whom the BJP as a political party promised huge before Election 2018. In case of 10323 teachers, it was Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who assured to bring an amendment or to modify a law for one time for the teachers “secure†livelihood. Now, it has been 4 months that the teachers have lost their jobs but so far no solution came out.
This month, there will be likely a hearing in 10323 teachers case, where Tripura Govt sought permission form Supreme Court to appoint the former teachers in non-teaching posts, but the pre-election promise of modifying law is completely forgotten.
