AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): Lack of maintenance is not only causing highways’ damaged conditions, but also risking lives of public in Tripura. In such an incident a steel bridge was collapsed in state, although the driver of heavy loaded truck has been blamed to drive his truck on it amid restrictions.
Although quality of construction has been always an allegation from Left to BJP era under private contractors but Govt’s initiative for maintenance are hardly seen now.
This incident has taken place in Kulai.
A heavy truck beyond the capacity of a steel bridge rode on it and collapsed with the full bridge.
