AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): Amid 7 days lockdown in the border areas from July 17, violations of lockdown continues. Whereas the vehicle drivers, rickshaw pullers had no other option rather than livelihood, few were seen intentionally violating the protocol. Talking to a local, he said, "Only a signboard was put giving warning against lockdown violators and from then no official was seen on spot. This is not lockdown as normal lives are going on like everyday". From administrative side, it has been said that action against violators are going on and massive fines imposition is under process. So far no direct financial help was given for border areas poor people led them to hunt for works amid lockdown. Once the lockdown is completed, the State Govt might think over the total lockdown in state Tripura.
