AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): After National media, opposition parties at National level hit Tripura CM over his "Jat-Intellectual" remark, CM has apologized for it.

He also said, he bears tremendous honours for all cultures and values the unity, diversity of India.

The apology came after 2 days of his statement, saying, "Sardar, Jats have less brains and thus Bengalis may use their brains to defeat them......."

In last 2 and half years, this is second time that CM Biplab Deb had to do apology over his statement. Earlier, he apologized over his comment on former Miss World Diana Hayden whom he said an "unworthy to be Miss World".
