AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): India’s top Congress leader, National Spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala has sought “action” against Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb over his insulting remark on communities - “Jat” of Haryana and “Sardars” of Punjab saying, “They have less brains”. At the same time, his remark is shooting national media headlines, projecting BJP in a negative way. CM was addressing in Electronic media organized programme at Agartala on Sunday when he said, “Bengalis have Brains and nobody can defeat the Bengalis through intelligence. But Sardar, Jats don’t have much brains. Consequently, Bengalis can defeat them through intelligence”.

Calling Tripura Chief Minister’s statement as “Shameful and Unfortunate” Congress National Spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said, “BJP Chief Minister, Tripura, Biplab Deb insulted the Sikh brothers of Punjab and the Jat society of Haryana, called their " brain less This is the mentality of BJP. Why Khaá¹­á¹­arajÄ« and Dushyant Chautala are silent? Where is Modi ji and NaḍḍājÄ«? Ask for forgiveness, take action”.
