AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): Praising own Dept, Foods and Civil Services Minister Manoj Deb on Friday has said that Tripura Govt amid Lockdown also kept the markets under control.
The Minister said that it is a great achievement of Tripura Govt. His statement came amid Tripura is traditionally high in market prices due to various reasons and lack of local productions.
Minister Manoj Deb also said that as Govt was already successful to detect fake ration cards but after making everything online in the ration distribution system, it is now capable to save huge funds.
"One Nation, One Ration Card has successfully implemented in Tripura. Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Tripura are at the to list in One Nation, One Ration Card programme. It's a great achievement", said Manoj Deb.
Deb further added, Tripura Govt started crop buying system and it will be continued. He said, earlier farmers were bound to sale their crops at Rs. 900 but now they are selling to Govt at Rs. 1800.
