On a recent press-meet while addressing the media about the norms of newly imposed night curfew in the State, Minister Ratan Lal Nath said,  "keeping in mind about the public safety, night curfew will be implemented strictly from  9 PM to 5 PM."

 

The video clip of Nath's speech went viral over the social media platforms. Netizens are saying, "If the Education Minister of the state himself doesn't know the difference between am and pm, what will we expect from the rest of the system?"

 

However, as Tripura's Covid positive cases spiking up high for last few days, making total of 2068 at present, the state government imposed night curfew on 11 July. In border areas 7 PM to 7 AM and elsewhere from 9 PM to 5 Am in actual, night curfew will be continued in the state, without any compromise.
