UDAIPUR,November 22 (TIWN): Though the demand to repair the Udaipur-Kakraban road has been raised so many times during the past five years, the authorities of PWD Southern Division totally neglected the demand. Naturally over the years, road developed various potholes in every two to three yards distance leading to continuous miseries to the pedestrians and vehicles as well as passengers. However, as PM Modi's visit to the Palatana power plant on Nov 29 is coming close, District Administration and PWD suddenly woke up from its deep slumber and started repairing work is in full swing. Stones and chips being pumped into the holes and roller machine is making its best effort to give the Kakraban-Udaipur road a new look.It is certain that if PMO gives clarification on date and time of PM visit (most likely on 29th Nov morning), soon high officials from the Union Home Ministry and even security personnel like SPGs will be on continuous trip to the Palatana plant. And to befool them the PWD has taken steps to repair the road on emergency basis.

PWD officials are monitoring the repairing work. But questions have already started to rise about the quality of such work. Then such a poor quality work will result in waste of govt money.
