AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): Tripura is undergoing acFrom Tripura’s Law Minister Ratanlal Nath’s statement it has been known that only 1,622 persons have donated blood this year.
The 10323 teachers under Victimized Association have broken Tripura Police’s record in blood donations, said Education Minister Ratanlal Nath on Saturday.
While addressing at Skylark cub’s blood donations camp Minister Ratanlal Nath said, “Blood has no alternative. No money can buy this. However, Tripura is always high in blood donation rates. In 2017-18 total 27,574 person donated blood, 2018-19 total blood donators are 32,421 and in 2019-20 total 33,237 persons donated blood. This year even after having COVID-19 total 25 camps are done and more will happen. Total 1622 persons have given blood”.
“Highest numbers of blood donators were from 10323. They arranged 341 blood donator breaking Tripura Police’s record”, the Minister said.
