AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): Though the government claims that the rate of developments are touching it's heights after BJP-IPFT led government gripped the throne of Tripura, but the actual picture of urban and rural life of the state shows the opposite. Small towns are suffering since many days for the lack of attention of administration.
Such complain came from the people of Shantirbazar. They alleged that Shantirbazar's grocery and vegetable market is in pathetic condition since past few months. There's no proper parking place in the market for which the customers faces problem in parking their vehicles on regular basis. There's no connection of water in the market, the vegetable sellers and shop owners need to go far from the Market to collect water. There's not even a public toilet in the market.
Besides, in rainy season water clogging in road makes public suffer, water enters in shop leads the shop items damage.
The market authority informed administration for a lot of times but no action has been taken so far. When they personally talked with the chairman of Shantirbazar municipality he convinced them and said he will look after the matter but no step is being provided by the authority as solution to any of these problems, so far.
