AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Tripura Police scored major success against anti-Drug operation. Along with world, Anti-Drug Day is being observed, today in Agartala, police have achieved a major success by nabbing 11 persons who were caught red-handed partying in a gambling gathering, illegally organized in Battala. Huge contraband items were seized from that raided area. While raiding, West Agartala PS Police along Battala Police also unearthed massive illegal liquors and Rs.25,000 cash. Over 300 foreign liquors and huge number of local liquors (Bangla) and few other contrabands were seized. The police were reportedly informed via a secret source about the illegal gathering there and then raided the place. Police now are interrogating all of them and to be produced before the court.
