ABVP placed deputation to CM with complaint of taking Entrance Fee for cancelled PG courses in Tripura University

AGARTALA, June 23 (TIWN): BJP's Student wing ABVP placed deputation to CM Biplab Kumar Deb at Secretariat on Tuesday. For the outbreak of Covid-19 virus the State and Central University has already declared that no entrance examination for PG courses will be taken this year. The procedure of admission in PG courses will be based on the CGPA of graduation. But entrance fees are been taken from students. For the cancellation of entrance fees, ABVP on Tuesday met with CM and placed deputation on this matter.
State Secretary of ABVP Suraj Deb said, "We ABVP members have always preferred quality education over anything. We believe that for quality education, exam in needed. But for this sudden situation of crisis the entrance examinations got cancelled by Tripura central university , then why entrance fees are taken from the students. We came here to talk with CM and we will take action for the wellbeing of the future of students of this state."
