AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): Teliamura police under the lead of traffic DSP seized huge number of weeds on Sunday from a 14 wheeler Lori. Police arrested the driver and two other people.
Reportedly, on Sunday early morning after getting information from a secret source Teliamura Traffic DSP SonaCharan Jamatiya and SI pritam Dutta with other police personnels stopped the Lori, no BRO3 GA 9114 and seized 180 kg Weeds. Total 18 packets of weeds has been seized. After the incident SDPO VG Reddy rushed to the spot. SDPO informed that the Lori was going from Jiraniya to Bihar. Three people including the driver has been arrested by police.
Police informed that for the sake of investigation information can't be disclosed right now but they are on the right track.
