The program took place in Melarmath Student-Youth Bhavan. Ex-CM Manik Sarkar urged the organiser to arrange eye and body donation camp also along with evey blood donation camp.

 

Sarkar said,"When we die, our eyes and other organs either gets burnt or buried. Instead of that if we donate them, after our death the health department will take them and two blind people can get the chance to see world. The doctors who are treating us, giving us life, how will they become doctor if they don't get human bodies to study. That's why it is necessary to donate our body that can help others." 

 

On this day a lot of youths donated blood. The organisers informed that such blood donation camps will be continued across the state for minimising blood crisis in the state.
