The incident took place at Chittaranjan road of Agartala. Over 190 workers participated on this protest.

 

While talking to media one of the workers said,"We are not recieving money for more than three months. They are only creating confusions among the workers. We tried to ask them, but they just avoided the matter by asking to show adhar card, bill paper etc."

 

They are been working as technical assistant under Tripura state electricity corporation limited. Allegedly the person who got the tender from government is not paying the salary to his workers. Though he escaped from the place somehow. The workers demanded for getting their salaries as early as possible.

 

This erupted tension in that area, huge number of police force came to tackle the situation.
