AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): Water logging has hit Agartala city Agartala on Wednesday, continued for hours.

Municipality workers were engaged in works, discharging water and functioning the machines. Water logging problem is however not a new problem introduced in the city but it is a long frustrating issue in the city and a major challenge for the Urban Development Dept and Agartala Municipal Corporation. 

Nevertheless, Urban Development has targeted a SMART City project where the city by timebeing to be freed from such major problems but question is how far it can be controlled as India’s various big cities are too reeling under  same problem of water logging.
