AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): Total 106 persons joined Congress from 36 families leaving BJP party.

The joining programme held at Padmabhil under Teliamura. At the 2 years of BJP Govt formation, such a landslide in the party has been reported as a major jolt.

On being asked, the newly joining Congress members said that basically BJP Govt's failure to fulfill promises have bound them to join the Congress party.
