AGARTALA, June 16 (TIWN): Lashing out at the BJP led Tripura Govt, Tripura former Minister, GMP President Jitendra Choudhury pointed out about a ‘show off’ petition filing in the Supreme Court for 10323 teachers’ livelihood. Jitendra Choudhury raised question, why the BJP Govt filed the petition just 3 days before teachers termination, instead of utilizing last 2 years when they are in power ? The Communist leader further said, BJP used the teachers as its vote bank and now it has no desire to save the 10323 teachers lives. “Even media are showing sympathy on 10323 teachers, but the BJP Govt has not shown a drop of sympathy for them, whereas behind the intrigue against 10323 teachers, who were responsible, it is well known. Who filed the case against 10323 teaches jobs, it is also known to allâ€, Jitendra Choudhury told media, while addressing in a press conference at Melarmath CPI-M headquarter.
It can be mentioned here that BJP Govt has recently filed a petition in the Supreme Court appealing to appoint terminated 10323 teachers in non-teaching posts, which has not been listed for hearing. By this time, under Supreme Court’s previous order the teachers lost their jobs on March 31st, 2020.
