AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): Tripura former Minister, Gana Mukti Parishad President Jitendra Choudhury has lashed out at the Tripura Govt for its negligence over COVID-19 tests.

He hit the BJP Govt after a video was shared by a girl who arrived in Tripura from Delhi’s red zone.

“As the girl’s mother is cancer patient and she is coming form red-zone, she asked the Airport official to do her COVID-19 test, but no test was done. Only 5:1 tests are done”, Jitendra Choudhury told media referring her statement in social media.

Jitendra Choudhury further demanded 100% COVID-19 tests of the returnees to ensure proper steps taken by Govt as the cases are raising in fastest way.
